I REALLY want to test drive Tesla Model S and experience that instant electric torque and zero throttle delay what everybody talking about.

Agree on all counts except for the Acura MDX. I've never stepped foot in an Acura dealership, and I don't think that'll change anytime soon.

Even though I'm not in the market for buying a Tesla (or any car, for that matter, as I'll be keeping my 335i for a good 10-12 years at minimum), I'd really like to test drive one to see what that so called "instant torque" feels like.

I work with someone that has the Tesla S. It's a damn nice car and to see the quality in American car is ammmazing to say the least. The car really has a lot of buzz, although I have never driven it myself. From the owner's mouth, it's fast!!!!!!!!

Why no love for Acura. They are great DDs and I would love to get the new MDX for towing cars and etc. So it's on my list. I drove it yesterday, it was very luxurious and comfortable, but even in my short test drive I felt the steering felt too artificial. Oh well, don't want to spend 70k+ on another SUV

Unfortunately, I did indeed move to the Dirty Jerz. The DMV will always be home sweet home though. Hope all is well!
