I use matte black then I apply wax to give it a little shine.

The price for vinyl wrap materials have really gone up in the past few years since this became popular. They are not even cheap anymore on ebay.

If you want a little shine. Satin looks much better, it looks like the frozen black paint.

I got quoted for 3M scotch print.

It's 1000$ USD / roll to wrap an entire car on the gloss finishes. I just wanted to say WTF?

Nice work, can't believe people would hate enough to egg a car or what ever... I bet with the wrap it looked so bad ass that they egged it lol. but what a bitch move. I want to do matte white to mine so I am gearing up to wrap it. Thanks

For not having any practice you done very well. Shame about someone egging it though. I wrapped my old car after practicing on interior items and it wasn't hard at all, like you say you just need a bit of care and patients with it.

Has anyone seen pictures of a full carbon white car?

I've only seen cars with the hood done in white carbon so far: http://www.carbonfiberfilm.com/blog/tag/white/

Does anyone know if white carbon always looks matte white at a distance? I'd like it to be glossy..

This was back in 2010 when I had a vinyl supplier hook up. I used oracal 651 which isn't meant for cars due to its degree of stretching, but I made it work. You can still get a 50 yard roll online for less than $200.

gonna resurrect thread again :P

do you remember how much vinyl was used for the hood and Front bumper ?
im planning to re-do my two parts. But im unsure coz somebody else wrapped my car in the first place.
