Can't see 100% clearly, 1M or 135i?

If it's 1M ouch.

I assume he drove over an extra slick part of the road (or was there actually a large puddle?)

Or maybe there is simply no tread left in the tires?

sure 1M, the stance, the kit, the wheels, the color, don't think there will be anyone invest that much on a 135i.
yea... ouch....thats sad, but fixable right? Must have insurance, so no worries, no one injured.=)

2012年4月19日於灣仔告士打道發生的交通意外。 涉及一部寶馬汽車。事件引致告士打道東行大塞車。

I feel bad for the car, the 1m is such a nice car. im pretty sure the DSC was turned off. I drive in that same lane all the time and its usually pretty smooth, no huge bumps to set it off like that. Maybe the quick ratio steering was too much for him? Never driven the 1m myself so i wouldn't know

Hard to understand why he lost control at such low speed. The car in front was traveling at the same speed without braking, so I assume the speed was ok.

from looking at the video again, it seems like the car was traveling at a moderate speed and seemed to be kinda irked (looked like it cause he braked for no reason on the straight, with 3 car lengths infront of him) from the HI ace behind him. He starts speeding up at the start of the corner and tries to hit the apex while gassing. Rear tires loses traction and he counter steers but his foot seems to be still on the throttle (With TCS off), as the wheels seem to be spinning very fast and only hits the brakes when his car fully passes his own lane and into the others (brake lights are only on then). My Prognosis, underskilled driver with oversized ego (rear wheel drive doesn't help either, maybe he played too much forza and tried to power out) and shouldn't have anything to do with the tires. If i drove like that, i'm pretty sure my 335 would have done the same.

Looks like he might've nailed it right on the slight bump, add some wetness to that and the results are just what I would expect.

Yea but it seemed like the rear tires gripped when his car went sideways and because he was still on the throttle, the car kept going forward and by the time be started braking it was already too late. I think he could have prevented it if he just went off the throttle and hit the brakes while trying to keep the car straight. Then again, i'm not any professional racing driver so i may be wrong

He used to switch off DSC/DTC and probably he throttled a bit too much (at wrong gear maybe,he shifted b4 acclerating and sliding), and it is more torquecy than a 335i. With the M settings, it oversteers and sideways easier than a standard 335i.

PS2 non RFTs is standard on all 1Ms. Not sure whether he has changed to R tyres though.

No doubt about the 1m being more tail happy. Just saying that if he was driving the same way in a tamer 335, it probably still would have happened. Thats all =)

Too many drivers are like that these days in HK The bad thing is he damaged two other cars, all well, I say the other affected drivers should empty the wallet of that 1M driver, hahaha.

The other day some 3rd rate van tailgated me on route twisk and was trying to pass me. I said forget it and corner hard through the turns, he had no chance to overtake me. The funny thing was, he actually thought he can out-corner me in my E90 with is van? These drivers in HK...

Well, I do know of a few 1M wannabes out there in HK, so had to be sure.

Psh, Van? Never! Mini-Bus.... now those are some serious racing machines haha

Also, that camry and estima should be honored that the 1m chose to hit them. Its like being knighted.

Replaying it a few times it seems he hit a very small bump OR he accelerated and lost it. If you watch closely, the tail actually bounces slightly (or drops slightly due to acceleration) before he spun out...

Regardless if its a 1M or 135i, still an unfortunate date for 3 people...
