Chrome Grill
The first and best visual mod for my 2007 328i and my older 2002 325xi was this $10 BMW Chrome Grill:

It really depends on the color of your car and the rest of your mods. IMHO blacked out grills look best on black car and black rims.
All new BMWs already come with chrome grill surroundings anyway. Its only vertical grill slats that are black, unless you shell out for the premium model. If you put it side to side with fully chromed grill then black-slats-grill looks like a smile with few teeth missing. I fully agree with you, its a matter of personal opinion, but in my case chrome grill really brings out its beautiful, stylish headlights, whereas previously all the attention was drawn to the dull void space in the middle. It only took me 20 min to put this kit on the car and every time I look at it, it puts a big smile on my face |

Not a fan of chrome anything (grills, trim, wheels). But hey, it's your car.

Hi Rasec,
The difference is that if you do it yourself it will not be as accurate. I tried it before as well. It didn't hold well because it wasn't matching the shape precisely. This grill kit is made using $4000 Roland tape cutter to make sure you get the exact fit. Once you see it, you'll realize that it does make a difference. |
