Installed bms dp, check engine light on

Hello fellas im real new to this board, im in need of some help an advice. Im running a jb4 with bms dci never had check engine light on. However I just had a shop install me the bms dp's and i got a check engine light on. Any advice?

Dont buy or install parts when you dont know what they can or cant do.

I sugget reading the codes at a shop otherwise we cant help you.

I will, i just thought the jb4 was going to eliminate that check engine light after the install.

Do you know by chance why BMS selling Downpipe fix?

Jb4 has it built in. Op read the code and you'll get a better idea on what's happening.

wow, you guys are harsh.. I know people need to search and do research however, if in fact you know the answer....why not help a fellow tuner out and give them the answer!? OP, good luck resolving the issue as i will be installing DP's soon myself and hope i don't run into any problems.

forgive some people on here, i can only assume they dont know either which is why some are so quick to say

You have to enable the code clearing on the jb4, there should be a video on YouTube about it.

People need to stop being prick asswipes. If you dont want to help because you are fed up or annoyed then dont reply and move on. Instead of wasting a post space on nonsense put some valuable info in it and help the guy out.

Turn on the jb4 autoclear mode... U will need this to clear code... And also u will need the dp fix from bms in the future to pass inspection

How, please, would you help him without any codes? I would love to see you give any sound advice with the information given. Not bagging on the OP AT ALL here, because I have been known to do the same thing.

Thanks for the ones with the advice and i tried autoclear and it still continues.. Im just assuming maybe whats causing the misfire is that they put the O'2 sensors in the wrong spot during the installation.

im all for helping people, but there are some things people SHOULD know.

OP just said there is a code. what do i do? well thats not enough to get a decent answer. we are not wizards who know exactly what code he is throwing. how can we help? if OP has a JB4, he SHOULD know how to use it and how to enable autoclear and read the code. He should also know that removing cats will throw a code on any car. If anything you're the prick/asswipe giving him wrong information without knowing whats wrong.

my guess is 02 sensors.

I think it's option 1-3 to enable auto clearing.

I hate when users get on here and give people crap from not searching ahead of time. If anything starting a new thread that has been talked about previously is a good way to re-open that discussion and new members or older ones with new knowledge can then chime in!

Runs awesome, i had to jump on those bms 3' downpipes. shout out to those guys over their for a making a quality product. No problems with perfect fitment!!

I was gonna say it sounds like your o2 sensors are backwards.
