My frozen grey e90 & VMR 710 Storm Grey

Hi all,
This's my car repainted, frozen grey, & the 18" VMR 710 Storm Grey I purchased from JLevistreetwerks.com.

The custom finish of the wheels is EXCEPTIONAL. I'm very very happy with the quality powder coating process.
The powder coat is THICK, Smooth, very evenly colored.

The wheel shop where I got my wheels mounted, also gave lots of props about the finish.

Money well spent for the powdercoating I must say.

Anyways, I'm still waiting for the bmw performance bodykit. Once everything's done, will repost with much better quality pictures.

Special Thanks to Nick Palefsky for being very helpful & patient, & thoroughly with my international order. (& to Charles from VMR).

At direct afternoon sun light

Thanks all.
btw, Do I need spacers? it seems like I have some room.

Right now, The car is sitting on the H&R Touring cup kit. It's been on the new suspension for 2 days, so I'm not sure how lower it'll get in time, but I'm content with the height.
(I cant drop the car much since the road in Vietnam is full of surprises anyway)

About the spacers, which 1 would I need?
5mm?
10mm?
Please advice
D

You don't want to run spacers 10mm or less so I would just leave it as is until it's time for new tires. Then you could poke it out a bit and stretch some tires to get your clearance.

terrible idea for bad roads, especially with gravity cast wheels

If you noticed, my location is Cincinnati...his is Vietnam. I have no idea what his roads are like. All I am doing is telling him how to get a flush look, which he asked for. Also, being lowered to begin with isnt gonna be good for bad roads. So...yeah.

here's the gap from the mid tire's wall to the rear fender.

What do you guys think? 5 or 10mm spacers?
Please advice,
Thanks,

The bottom pic in your second set of pics in this thread is the best shot for helping you determine a spacer size. What needs to be measured is the lateral gap between the tire sidewall and the inner lip of your fender. Which, in your case, is not very big...and your tires have a pretty square sidewall. Those two things in combination don't leave you with much ability to go more flush, unless you want to sacrifice handling and crank the negative camber up so the wheels tuck when the suspension compresses. Either way, I stand behind my first comment.

I don't have a lot of gap between the tire sidewall & the inner lip of my fender.

Right now it's been 3 days on the new suspension.
I think the car will settle in a week or 2. Then i'll report back.
At the mean time, I'll try to fit 3 asian chix in the back seat to help the car settle quicker.
Or 2 asian, 1 white chic.
or 2 white chic, 1 skinny asian chic.
or 4 skinny asian chix
or for maximum load, 1 asian & 2 mexican chix...
