Need help, doing anthracite swap E92

Guys,

How do I get the B and C piller off? I know for the B piller I need to disconnect it under the middle trim but how does the trim come off?

I know for the C piller I need to push in to release the first clip then pull out to release the other one. Is that the right order? How do I do it? I pushed in as hard as I could without breaking anything but it wouldnt budge.

After the B and C pillers are out, what else do I need to know? I have everything else out already.

I hope to get the old headliner out tonight so help asap would be appreciated.

That was not the help I was looking for

I MIGHT make a DIY if I can ever DIM. The headliner is hanging down now so all I need is to get the pillers off and it should come right off.

I already did but I still cant get them off. The anthracite pieces show where you have to remove the middle trim to take off the B piller and the C piller show 2 locks for clips that face away from each other. I cant figure out how these come out.

Do the C pillers use the same round plastic clips as the A piller to hold them in? I am talking about the piece that goes into a hole in the piller and the trim piece slides over it.

Can anyone else confirm that all you have to do is pop the trim peices out of the body then pull the trim out? I dont see how that will work and I have already tried it.

for the C pillar trim. pop off the plastic cover, unscrew the screw, then slide the cover forward toward the front of the car.

Ok I will try that again. How much force does that require? Last time I tried that I thought I would break it.

1. use a flat head screwdriver to pop off that 'airbag' plastic cover
2. unscrew the screw
3. say you're working on the right pillar (passenger side), slightly press your right hand onto the pillar cover, and with your left hand, you pull the cover towards the left, i.e. front of the car, do not pull it towards you, i.e. to the left side of the car.

edit: nevermind haha, just saw that you got the C pillar cover off

Can I get someone to confirm how the B pillar trim comes off? I am so close to getting this done! I swear I will make a DIY if someone can explain to me how to get the trim off.

Ok I got it off after some help from a guy on another non car forum. I got the headliner out thru the trunk but not without getting a few creases in it. Is there any way to avoid this?

Also, how do I unbolt the lower part of the seatbelt to get it thru the old trim?
