Quick question. I'm going the custom exhaust route. The shop doing the work wouldn't remove the secondary cats for me, I guess no big deal. But the stock tubing from the cats back is 2.25". I was thinking of the following:

1) Buy the 2.5" supersprint cross over pipes and fab some tubingback from there to the secondary CATS
2) Have the shop do custom 2.5" piping
3) Use the stock piping and just replace the mufflers

The question is which one of the options would you pick? Is it really worth having piping made with 2.5" stock if the its from the secondary cats back instead of the primary cats?
