Wow, you're asking for a lot... European Auto Garage (227 Sherway Road • Knoxville, TN • 37922 • 865.862.5270) is generally the best option, I can't say they're perfect, but they're certainly better than the dealer. Unfortunately Knoxville is blessed with an absolutely horrible dealer with Grayson BMW.

Yes I've been before but they're kind of pricey. And I recently went in for a service and they told me I need to get a valve cover gasket changed. However the valve cover gasket looked super clean to me with no signs of leakage so I'm just wanting a second opinion before dropping 1k on that repair

I have used Gillespie and the price was not competitive at all. European auto garage is good, I have had only good experience with EuroHaus, altough reviews are mixed on the internet.

Marko's Garage (211 Center Park Drive Suite 3060)
also specializes in BMW/Mini, I have no experience with them though. I think EAG is good for services that have no ambiguity, like alignments and tires. I have heard they sometimes like to recommend service that may not be needed, and they once gave me a quote on a transmission fluid/filter change that suddenly jumped up $300 the morning I was dropping off my car. So they're not perfect, but compared to the dealer, getting punched square in the nuts is preferable.

I've heard so much bad things about Eurohaus. And they're no longer in business. I'd look up the guy who has his old Mercedes there. He had to get a court order to get his car back

Not in business anymore ? Well that settles it then. The guy used to be top notch like 10 years ago, but I have heard that he got some drug problems and his life spiralled out of control. Sad story really.
