reply to "if your so young how you afford bmws?"

i figured id make a thread for replies to that question. going over a few threads i came across someones age of 17? now that's young... so lets hear your stories!

well i personally am 20 turning 21 in april...

my bmw was not my first car... it goes in this order
-99 toyota avalon
-85 corvette
-02 gti
-97 camry
-09 328i

and i work as a smog tech making a between 2700-3500 a month, i figured i pay for everything except rent, so i wanted a nicer car i could afford 400 bucks a month payments and thus i found my car.

I'm 22. I held jobs all through high school and college to save up and was fortunate enough to have parents who were willing to cover my college tuition as well as the related expenses. Once I landed a big boy job, I put $20k down on a brand new 335i and financed the rest.

Im 22 and i live at home, my first car was an e46 330i that my parents got for me at 16, was around 17k back in 06. Everything went to hell on it i made it to 164k miles. Two months ago I got myself a 2007 328i for 16k from a private seller, my payment is 310 a month, and thats only thing i pay, my parents still provide me with insurance. I have two jobs, a part time cleaning job where i get 700 clean a month and we also have a trucking company where I dispatch but really underpay myself for the amount of work I do. I get about 1300 clean from there a month, so all together around 2000 a month after taxes, with no expenses other than the car payment and just bs i want/need

The reason most get angry at those 17 year old kids because its their parents money. Some are responsible and most are those typical d-bags

I graduated in 2009, and my parents gave me a 2007 335i coupe in 11/06 as an early graduation present. They told me as long as I could get into the community college when I finished HS, that the BMW would be mine to keep. I made them proud by getting my associates degree last year. I really proved to them that I could achieve anything, as long as I tried really hard.

Step one move out of mommy and daddy's house. Step two get a good job. step three maybe get a girlfriend and get laid.

If i were in your shoes i would move out before trying to impress the grils with your sick whip. Where you gonna take them after dinner anyway. Remember mommy and daddy are home.

Oh don't forget to do your chores......

bimmerfrk, you sound bitter.

Seeing as how you're the mature, responsible adult here, could you please at least you proper grammar/punctuation to attempt to insult us young bucks?

I didn't realize driving a 6yo sub-$20k car at 25 was such a big deal.

I just do not comprehend why everyone has to explain their life story as to how thy got into a bmw. It so juvenile. I'm sorry about the grammar, please pardon my brevity.
