Wanna drop..need help please.
I want to lower my car to the equivalent of the OEM sport package and I would like to stay with OEM parts. I know that if I get the springs from the sport package, I'll pre-maturely wear out the other components of my suspension. So my questions are:
What other suspension components will I have to change to ensure that my suspension does not pre-maturely wear out? I am not looking to spend too much (not really sure of my budget), so what aftermarket components should I look at to give me the same drop as the sport package? Not sure if it matters but, I have an 07 328i base model with 225/45 R17s (wheel is OEM style 284). |

Hate to state the obvious but you answered your own question. You have a 328i and want to stay OEM so just get a used ZSP OEM sport suspension (springs, struts and shocks, and sway bars) used from someone selling on the board. If you are a manual you need spring code D4, if A/T then D5. Rears are D4. Other suspension components are the same from non-ZSP to ZSP (I believe). |
