What they doin' - Hatin' on us. But they never cross - e92 Build

I'm not sure if there's an area on here for build threads, so I'm going to start one up right here.

The project car is a Space Grey 2007 335i e92, we got with 29k miles.

Sorry for the cell phone photos, I'll be sure to get some better ones as we move forward with this project.

Here's a photo of how it looked summer of 2012, pre-M3 rear end conversion:

For me the 'ricey' part is my crappy fender roll job. Up close the quarters don't look good. But that will be fixed soon enough.

Nice! Should be a clean set up when it's squared away. Love the wheels and the seats

That's your 1st problem you rolled the fenders when to get the clean look and fender you need to cut that shit. A roll with a real aggressive set of tires doesn't usually end up clean cutting and shaving the lip right off is the only way to go IMHO

So I see "race" inspired parts - roll bar, diff, seats, but a very anti-race stretched tire setup. Why didn't you go for a more meaty tire setup?

Isn't the Bag Riders shop car? Or are you Will?

Sean shot your car and I just recognized it, as he shot my old blue e90 as well for V2Lab.

Yeah, sadly for our poor e92 I learned the hard way haha. Oh well, round two will be done using the correct methods as you mentioned.

Good point sir. The new setup is going to have some nice meaty tires (soft compound too), on a different set of wheels.

Wow, the cat is out of the bag. That didn't take long. Yes I am Will. The car is owned by BagRiders.com and used a promotional vehicle.

Sean is a cool dude, and your e90 was really nice, props to you.

I can put a setup together for your e93, it's actually pretty easy. The front struts are made by BC Racing with Air Lift air springs. Shoot a private message my way if you want more info.

Close, I'm not sure what the 180 booth was, but it was in front of the BagRiders.com booth. The body/aero was 100% stock at the time.
