U must be going to SK speed. Best place to get meth is at the drag strip. 6 bucks a gallon bring your own drum.

yeah, distilled water is better "on paper" for sure...i'm really not sure how bad this can be given how often meth really sprays, especially on my car...sure on a track day it sprays A LOT but 90% of the time I'm not even using it especially now with RB turbos I really don't even feel like turning boost up beyond 14-15psi and my 94 pump octane...car's just a pure animal and timing logs look perfect |

Distilled water is important because regular water residue on your meth injection nozzle will dry and leave scale. Look how shower heads in your home get crusty with mineral deposits, and imagine shower jets much much smaller on meth injection kits. If you screw up the nozzle, you'll get a bad spray pattern, and it might harm the sensitive valves.

Make your own mix using pure methanol and distilled water or buy boost juice. I dont recommend using washer fluid. Who knows what detergents dyes and thickening agents are in these solutions. If you are going to go through the trouble of installing methanol injection into your car why not supply it with the right fluid?

I did all the math, compensated for different densities, volumes, etc. Mixing 6.8 yellow bottles of HEET and ~64 ounces of distilled water makes 1 gallon of approximately 50:50 mix by mass (weight). Start with the HEET and add distilled water until you get a gallon total. That isn't very cost effective, it's downright expensive that way, but I was in a pinch. Until I can find a methanol source locally in upstate sc I will go with boost juice going forward.
edit: I looked at my spreadsheet and found a small error. If you mix the recipe as shown, you will get a 50:50 mix, but the total volume will be slightly more than one gallon (due to methanol specific gravity of 0.796 g/mL). To get 50:50 mix totaling one gallon, use quantity 5.93 (12 fl oz. each) bottles HEET and the balance distilled water. Cheers
