Anyone here use windshield Sunshades?
My car gets so hot (blk/saddle), b/c i have to park it outside when i'm at work... I have 35% tint on the car minus windshield. I'm thinking about buying the OEM windshield sunshield from Tischer... Anyone have it?? I figure the OEM one will fit the best. My bro has a cheap one from Autozone and he says it helps a lot.

Picked up a set of those collapsible oval ones from Target or something, can't remember. But they work pretty well and fold up perfect to stick between the center console and passenger seat.

I got the bmw one for my e92 and it's been a life saver on 90+ days. Instead of the dash being hot enough to cook a steak on when I get in my car, the dash is just warm and the entire interior is cooler.

Yup lovin the oem one. Altho I reverse it and use the matte side pointed outside, prolly not smart since the reflective side was to serve the purpose of deflecting heat. but I felt the "BMW" logo was too much and douchey hahah.

I use the Covercraft UVS100 for three of my cars. IMHO, probably the best out there.
http://www.covercraft.com/windshield_heat_shield.htm Best pricing I found was from Big Sky Covers: http://www.bigskycarcovers.com/our-p...-heat-shields/ If you decide to go this route, make sure you order the right one for your body style. I had to order an earlier model year for my '11 coupe, but it was still an E92. |

After looking at the pictures I found online of the BMW accessory sunshade, it looks exactly the same, along with the storage bag, except with the added BMW logo. So if you don't want the "BMW" screaming out from behind your windshield.....

A sunscreen is a sunscreen. I actually found an old one that my dad used on his truck. Obv too big for my car so I just measured and cut it. Works very well and keeps my car so much cooler.

Sure, cardboard and duct tape works just as well, and doesn't cost nearly as much.
