Please help with HID Mtec fogs

I want to purchase a set of Mtech fogs pre owned from a member and he has sent me paperwork showing that I will not get a warning light on the dash but everyone I talk to says on the 2006 model the light will show up on the dash. That is fine with me but I dont want to deal with hearing the gong everytime I start the car. I know in 07 and above models it sems to work fine and not do anything for some reason. Can someone please help me with this? Searching has not given me a clear answer so if your going to post search for me do not bother. I have answered THOUSANDS of questions for people here so I am looking for help and nothing more. Thanks.

EDIT: ok wow, just saw that you have a 330, I've heard that all 06's end up having codes, not sure how to fix that, sorry.

H7's are also 55 watts, but doesnt HID kits draw 35 watts ? do MTEC's also absorb power from ground and the battery ?
