Here's some marmite for y'all (Cheeky Shoot)

Took the dslr out around Manchester and got a few nice shots prior to changing the wheels completely!

-----—----—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Updated with a couple of pics took around Yorkshire and the Moors, some excellent driving roads

Still need to space out front wheels thinking maybe 15mm which should bring it to 8.5J ET23ish which should be okay from what I've read without and camber or fender mods

Still can't decide lowering springs or coilovers though

--------------------------------------------------------------------

My first refurb, turned out very good and I'm loving it

I agree this will not be everyones cup of tea but what do you think?

Updated with another pic, need the front dropping a tad, im thinking springs only? and maybe a 10mm spacer as its sitting at ET38 8.5J currently

look very "Tango'ed" but that could be the reflection from the red brick wall.

More piccies from face on.

update an Instagram pic wasn't the best of choices lol but here's the only other I got for the moment!
E-Tech drift gold, was perfect for the look I wanted

will take proper snaps and side ons once suspensions settled a bit

Massive respect for the DIY!!!
Colour is not for me but could also just be the lighting as first pic looks completely different from second

The finish in the first pic looks nice, in the second it looks a little dull..

Fair play for doing the DIY though, done a few myself so appreciate the time and effort to get a decent end result. But now i always go pro as the finish will always be far superior for much less effort!

Should have left the rim polished!! Recon would have looked better. Also different centre caps maybe. Great work though bud doing them your self. Did you laquer them as well? Otherwise they will go dull really easily.

Polishing them would be a PITA, stripping them down took forever in itself!

and yes, etch primered, high build primer, paint and then laquer... all out of cans

Ordered some red&gold BBS centrecaps just waiting on them to come,

btw if anyone wants fake bolts but doesnt wanna dish out a good £60-70 quid i sourced some socket bolts that did the job perfectly (and look on par imo), and were under a tenner.

How the car sits aside, I love the wheels' finish. Looks very good. I'd agree on spacers though

15mm spacers on front so 8.5J ET23 overall sound about right guys? Cant decide whether that or go 20mm with a bit of camber or fender roll?

I know most peple will hate them but I saw them and the child inside me wanted them, the same feeling I had when I bought a gold turbo keyring that actually spools
