alright guys...here a video of [ Resonator + Muffler Delete] I paid about 160 bucks for it and i am personally satisfied with it (...to each his own =) ...) . SOOO...It was late at night, and i was using a flashlight and i couldn't sleeeep...sooo...okay..

the quality of this video is alllright...i'll try to post a better one, but heres one for now, just to give you an idea of what it sounds like... enjoy

So I take it no one is losing HP by doing this on the 328i? I have been looking into making my car louder but dont want to spend $1,200 on a leased car... My main concern is losing HP or torque. But I figure at most losing 3-4 hp isnt bad if you lose 30-40lbs that will out weight the hp loss if any.

if you want it loud take out the resonator. I think it makes it loud enough and that its not obnoxious

if anything i gained HP and Tourque on the butt dyno!

Just muffler. I have had thoughts about the resonator but they say it will be to loud.

you actually gain hp because all that backpressure is released, but you lose torque.

i did a little mod to the resonator so that i kept some backpressure

well since i had the resonator put back in, i had them leave on some of the old pipe so that it protruded into the resonator (on the side leading to the exhaust). this old pipe was smaller than the opening on the resonator, so it goes inside and protrudes about 2 inches into the resonator. looks like this:
