Sh!t. Just bought the interior xenon (superwhite) kit from **********s several weeks ago. They're also from Bimmian. Hearing this makes me worry about melting issue. Can someone from **********S chime in?

I was supposed to get replacement bulbs and they still haven't been sent to me. This is not good.

The replacements are being manufactured right now so they have not been sent out yet. Bimmian will have them in about 2-3 weeks when the new bulbs arrive and they will be automatically mailed to you.

Hell, try replacing it all... who knows.

The lighter fluid goes into the hole in the rear-right fender... you know, above the wheel well.

I prefer zippo brand over the bic stuff... but until I see dynos on the lighting effect, I won't be convinced one way or the other.

I had a chance to work with Bimmian on the flickering issue and it looks like this is happening only in some ISOLATED incidents. They are aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

The important thing to know is that Bimmian is aware of the issue and takes full responsibility for any defective bulbs. Once a solution has been reached, replacements will be sent out automatically and free of charge. We are working closely with the folks over at Bimmian to find out the cause and solution to the flickering problem and will back the kits 100% with replacements and support if needed.

We will keep all customers up to date as well.

My question is...Do these kits include the bulbs for the light in the rear passenger footwells of the E92??? The last kit did not include these bulbs and gave the car an awkward look to it.....I just wound up unplugging mine after getting tired of looking at them every evening......

E92 - Search for LED with thread that start by me.

Meaning... 2 center one... 2 under dash, 2 under door.. 2 in the back....

If you don't get it right.. they sometime lite up.. sometime don't .. especially when teh engine is on..... only few will work..
that is exactly correct.

My friend who works as electical engineer at NASA told me the same thing.

so shouldn't they let their customers know before they drop $70.00 on a set?

If what Nick is saying is accurate, i would suggest to hang onto the bulbs and get the replacements. The product looks great when it does work.

Bimdaddy, if you end up having the same issue as everyone else, please send me a PM/e-mail. I would be glad to help work this out for you to make sure you receive the satisfaction you need. Bimmian's products are quality products, and sometimes there are little kinks here and there, but be assured, we will help you the whole way though

This applies to anyone else who bought the LEDs through us.

Bimmian was not aware of this issue before shipping the first sets. The pre-production units worked flawlessly so there was clearly a change between design and manufacturing. I really do apologize for the issues but given this is a new product, we do have to work through any problems and are doing our best to make sure you have a 100% working kit.

I finally recevied my temporary xenon bulbs from Bimmian and was working yesterday to replace them. It seems the only problem was in the LED's that go in the over head dome front, rear and the license plate. I've been working closely with Bimmian to help them solve the problem. Like any new product to hit the market, it won't be perfect right off the bat. I gotta admit, I was really frustrated. These LED's are very sexy and I was sad that they didn't work properly. Trust me guys, once the bugs are worked out, this is one mod everyone should have.

It's definitely tough to find the right combination of bulbs so that all the bulbs would work in sync with the car under all circumstances. Currently, the only bulbs that are known to work as map lights in all conditions are the Bellof Sirius REVO LED bulbs.

That's good news. Thank you for keeping us updated and I agree, these are well worth it once the bugs are worked out!

There shouldn't be a problem with doing so on that. Afterall, Bimmian should have to send you a replacement for a defective product.

Thank you for an update! I will keep in touch with Bimmian as well for any updates on a fixed version.

I currently have 8 LED's that need replacements. 3 in the front Dome, 3 in the rear Dome and 2 in the License Plate. All the others seem to work properly. I've sent the defective ones back. I've got the xenon bulbs in for now as loaner bulbs.

be careful of your trunk light too if you swapped that one as well, bimmian's lights have been known to melt the console.
