Valentine 1 Group Purchase?
Hey anyone ever attempt to get Valentine 1 to cut a group deal?
I think we could get a sufficient number here and it'd be sick to get 20% off or something right? There is a strong possibility this won't even be possible - but no harm in trying. |

(BTW, he does cut the price on returned units a bit. You need to ask about them, though. It's not advertised.)

Not possible, but if you call you can get a refurb for 10% off. Also check on craigslist, thats where I got mine, it was a steal compared to what I almost paid for one here on the forums.

Valentine One does not do group buys - ever.
It's been beat to death. You can call up and ask for a refurb unit though and if they have any which have been returned they're $360 (I've bought three of them this way.) |

I totally agree with the above statement.
Call Valentine Research at 1 800 331 3030 and ask for a returned V1 and you will get 10% off the retail price of $399. Tell them you don't mind being put on the waiting list. Guaranteed, they will ship a V1 out within 2 days. It will be the latest version V1.8 POP2 w/ Euro-mode and 3.863 firmware and that comes with all the accessories and a 1 year warranty. |

Those are all old versions, if you buy a refurb/returned one for 360 you'll end up spending less to have the latest version, also all of those are the older larger model, the newer ones are a little slimmer.

for them to even consider it, it would have to be over 50 units, and they would still say no most likely. the guys on 6speed tried it once and i'm pretty sure the best deal they could get was free shipping.

Been tried by everyone... won't happen. Just get the refurb one or eBay. Honestly I'd rather buy brand new for a few bucks more, it pays for itself quickly.
