Ignore these jerks breaking your balls about asking for advice online. It's always wrong until something affects them and they don't know what to do.

What you need to do is sever ties and let her bottom out without taking you with her. Snorting pills is a whole other ballgame than popping some Vicodin. As I understand it, Percocets are up there with Oxycontin and are viewed as a higher level drug than your run of the mill prescription pain killer. She's an addict and you just found the tip of the iceberg.

A great question would be how is she getting Percocets? Doctors generally don't hand out high level pain killers and most doctors in most states utilize the DEA database to monitor how controlled substances are distributed in order to prevent abuse. If she is obtaining them illegally, run the other way as fast as you can. If you are caught with her while she has them you'll get dragged into any legal action with her if she's using without a prescription.

Like other posters in this thread, I've seen prescription drug abuse severely limit people if not outright bring them down. I myself had a problem with Vicodin years ago. I recognized what was in front of me and decided to make a change and I haven't looked back. One thing that is crucial in all of this, she won't stop unless she wants to stop. Addicts always find a way to keep using.

The reason why other people can take drugs and not become addicted is because they exhibit self control.

Cut the waste of life loose or just use her for sex as you already are.

Btw being addicted to script drugs like perks, vikes, etc is like in the same category as heroin as far as its addictive nature and abuse, not to mention shes sniffing not ingesting.

Opioids are synthetically created opium. There are studies that show kicking actual heroin is less difficult than kicking prescription pain killers.

Search Fentanyl if you want to see the strongest prescriptions pain killer that can be issued outside of a hospital setting. Pretty unsettling when you start to look into what it's done to people who started using it after routing hip/knee replacement surgeries and couldn't get off it.

I dunno. He seemed to insinuate that he was OK as long as she was a casual user since he knows so many people that do hard drugs and are normal functioning people.

Two...maybe three things...

1. Straight up leave this girl alone, you do NOT want to be associated with her and result in ruining your life.

2. Get her help with said condition if its possible if she wants to cooperate.

3. In the event you two are having more than just "friendly chats" and there is some sort of feelings connected, stop all that and save yourself.

Either way, if it were me and I saw a "mutual friend" snorting fucking anything I am rolling out and removing that number from my phone and if there is any evidence of me being in the house I would quickly take that shit with me and erase myself from the situation ASAP. If you don't care enough to do what you know is the right thing without asking, then cut her loose. Addiction is painful for everyone involved and isn't worth the hassle if you don't really care about the person. It's not your job to solve the worlds problems.
