Smart looking car, But batteries in a car are for starting a real engine, I have no interest in saving the planet.
I will make sure that I use more than my fair share of petrol before I end up as fossil fuel

Nice car with a mid mount N54

It has a turbocharged 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine!

It has one real engine then ... Power figures vary depending on the source but apparently the i8 is powered by a 166 kW three-cylinder 1.5-liter BMW TwinPower turbo engine and a 96 kW electric motor linked to the front wheels. The combined output gives the i8 Convertible a 0 to 100 kmph time of 5.0 seconds, according to BMW. Top speed is 240 kmph.

Ha well they got it half right I cant see the point with hybrid cars over rated with a high price and no value in 5-8 years time when they start to go wrong.

Still I guess there is a market for these things or they wouldn't continue to develop the technology.
Or is it a pet project that one of the Directors wants to play with, at the end of the day they are all lemons and will cost the poor owner squillions.

Next we will see electric motorbikes, hang on BMW make those to

Now what about Nuclear power that I think would be a real BLAST
