335i 2008 bulb warning light

Hey all

The bulb warning light has just decided to come on my 335i on my way home, checked all the lights and as far as I can tell, none are out. Any ideas? Does it show a code of which side/bulb it supposedly is.

Thanks

If you've got I Drive it'll tell you on the bottom of the screen then the message will disappear but will remain on the cluster with the warning symbol, when you scroll through the menu on the cluster to find the system check the fault will be highlighted again.

If you find there's a warming yet you can't see an issue a wild stab in the dark from me will be an issue especially if it's rear light related regarding the instrument cluster.... If for instance it relates to say a rear fog light fault you can sometimes lose the fault for a time by switching the lights on and the fog light on fir say 10 or so seconds then fir the tme being the fault will disappear.

When removed/checked in the rears we normally find the clusters have burnt internally, which sadly means a new cluster

Double check the rear break bulbs. People normally miss that each cluster has 2 bulbs for each break light, so if one bulb goes the other still lights up.

True, but also as we've seen clusters do have a habit of burning out
