328 xi sedan wheels question????

Hi all I have a bmw 328xi sedan 2007. I’m looking into changing my mags.
I presently have a staggered look with 8 x 17 & 8.5 x17 in the back.

I’m looking at getting the M5 replicas & my only question to you experts out there would be with my xi can I install 8 x 18 front & 9 x 18 in the back or do I stay with
8 x 18 & 8.5 x 18.
The dealers just wont answer my question on this because they are after market wheels.

If so what offset do i use?
I would appreciate answer from anyone.

Thanks

You will be fine either way. Just make sure your offset is correct so you have the clearance to fit. I would PM some other members with the M6 reps and find out where they got them and then call up where they got them and explain what you want. I am sure they will be able to get you a set of 18X8 and 18X9 that will work on your car. I have seen others here with a 9.5" rear on AWD and they were fine. I would go with a 255 width rear tires also if your worried about clearence. The other reason I would do this is because the stock 18" wheels with sport run a 225/40/18 tires in the front and 255/35/18 size tire in the rear. I would do this so you have the same tire height as you do now with no speedo error. Also you may be able to find a set of good tires (run flats) that someone is selling cheap and then you can put them on your M6 wheels and not have to worry about a flat tire. This is the way I would do it.
