I was able to connect, but there's no MSD81 option... and when I got to the injector location this was the error message. I assume I would need updated INPA software

INPA will launch on 64-bit and you can do "dry" runs without the cable. It is EDIABAS that contains 16 and 32-bit binaries that might crash once you connect to the car.

Yes, NCSExpert in the zip file works great. I coded a bunch of stuff on my car.

Josh,

Open up INPA-FAQ.pdf and look for that error code. It might be a simple thing as incorrect port numbers.

Is there anything unique about the coding in this thread or can I ask my local BMW Indy who have all the equipment that BMW have to code my injectors for me?

Of course you can let them code them.

Nothing unique. We all knew that injectors need to be coded in when replaced and that shops can do it with rather expensive tools.

This is the first time someone has posted a DIY on performing this task. This saves time, money and a lot of frustration for the owners and it allows us to verify that the injectors have been coded in correctly. There are a bunch of cars out there running with miscoded injectors because of an ignorant and lazy techs in the BMW stealerships.

You are more than welcome to go to your favorite indy shop and get your injectors replaced and coded!

Okay...Dzenno was able to get it to work without crashing, so I will tread forward and test it. Is this cable good enough you think...

Also how do you get the NCSexpert to work...I can't even load it up for a "dry" run as you stated like I have done for INPA.. Can you please show me the way Vasillov on what to do to get it working? Thanks

Quick question. Vasillov. If I am doing a quick "dry" run of INPA and goto coding without the car being hooked up to the OBD with the cable will it give a error message of this when I actually go into the function to code the injectors. I would think the INPA not getting any readings from the car would make this code appear!! Thanks. Just had some time to mess around with it

Once you get into the injector screen, INPA will attempt to fetch the injector adaptation values (codings) from the ECU. If the cable is not connected, you will get an error. That's normal.

NCSExpert in the zip worked for me. Look into the NCSEXpert.pdf in the zip file. It should help you out to create your own profile. My profile is already in NCSExpert menus.

I just realized the zip file you gave doesn't work And I got it to work using the INPA-6.4.3 that I downloaded from The original DIY from the other site. It has to be used with Daemon Tool Lite and VMware. Either way I got it to load up into computer.

...not sure what you mean by that. A few people already coded their injectors with the files I posted.

BTW,

If you have a piggyback, set it in full bypass mode and remove any other CAN devices that you may have.

Sorry. I meant the zip was not compatible with my computer as i could not get it to work regardless of what I tried. I followed your DIY to install program and could not get it working but the other link for the INPA 6.4.3 worked for me using dameon Lite and VMware which the other download is based off of it. I just hope that it has all the necessary files. I would be pissed if cable came in and it doesn't work. Based upon what you said I think it should work once cable is hooked up, the errors will not be present
