Great, not a single chip. The best part is, if it does chip, I have a touch up brush and can of paint ready to fix it.

Did you ever end up coating it with polyurethane? If so, what kind? I want to coat mine with some but don't know how the poly will work on a latex enamel.

No i never did bc i never saw the need to the paint is holding up great and looks awesome.

Just painted the trim today and looks great! Glad I did it. Used the exact same materials as listed and followed the instructions to the T. I'll post some pics up later (will look even better when i have my black grille in!). Thanks for the DIY

currently working on mine, just got done with first coat. dripping like crazy. i hope i didnt get any on the car how did you guys manage to do it with out the paint dripping all over the damn place?

justin, you probably have too much paint on your roller... try using (considerably) less on your next coat and see if you have the same problem. dripping wasn't an issue for me

damn that looks really good I'm glad it turned out good. And I agree with them you must of had too much paint on the roller or went to fast when rolling on the paint.

Didn't go well at all. It was a fun Sunday project but I already stripped it due to chipping/tearing and applied vinyl.
