I think the vinyl will start to peel/fade naturally from being exposed to wind, sun and cold.

My buddy got his roof wrapped and it looked amazing at the beginning and now after 2 seasons you can tell its not the same carbon-fiber look.

The chemicals they use in the car wash can be pretty strong especially if you do to a touchless, if it isn't the best for your paint, I can't imagine it being all that good got the vinyl.

heated indoor car wash queen and kingston

I called and they are open, $3 for a 4 min cycle. Closed doors and heated. You can't bring a bucket and mitt etc at peak hours I would imagine though. Still doesn't really assist with cleaning the undercarriage though which is rather key.

It's actually around Yonge & Finch. I don't live there but have access to the garage since my wife has a parking spot in that building. I like going there since its cheaper than other coin wash and I can take my time during the early hours.

Probably coz' the condo coin wash I go to is also located at the lowest level.

Esso at the corner of Leslie and Lawrence (just up the street from Parkview BMW) has a touchless car wash with an undercarriage wash (really strong jet nozzles).

For me $2 coin wash at Bathurst & Dupont everyday I drive it. Yes, that's right, every single time I drive.

If you regularly keep it clean, it prevents build-up of road salt and grime. Once in a while I'll use Optimum No Rinse.

My car is fully wrapped. Only use coin wash with soap and then rinse. Never wax it. 3yrs and finish is still the same matte and no deterioration. No peeling.

I am familiar with that wash and thought of washing it quite frequently there as it is close to me but I still worry about this not getting to the undercarriage

cheers, do you know if the nozzles actually spray from underneath the car or simply from the side angled downwards?

That's why you wash the undercarriage yourself with the spray nozzle. Once a week or two I'll put in $4 and do a more thorough wash of the undercarriage.

I've tried that method, bit of a dirty job (gotta get down on your side), and I am never confident I really reach all the areas that a proper undercarriage spray at the automated washes reaches...

Petro Car Washes
The glide is great but the one in Milton nearly damaged my bumper and suspension as I drove out of the glide wash. My rides even lower due to winters on 17's. There's a deep ass dip right out of the exit off the glide. Never went back there since it happened last summer. And the exit issue still exists. I guess no one has yet complained.

After a snow plow session, I will use a touchless with undercarriage spray. Otherwise I will use the coin op - usually spend more than 10.00 in tokens.

The lower half of the car was just coated in a thick layer of salt. Of most of the touch-less places I have tried, none could clean my car that well!
went there today to get the super works wash, overall, great wash and it's touchless. I would only go there in the winter as it does have the rail, but I'm on winters so i don't really care. It cleaned pretty darn good, but the only part it didn't is the rear , I had to clean it again myself. Probably too much salt built up, i haven't washed it in a couple of weeks already.

I find that touchless car washes such as the Petro Glide washes never ever clean the back rear end of my car. Anyone else notice this? The Glide on QEW & Winston Churchhill sounds good so I may check that one out

I find glad washes too short, about 2 minutes, the super wash touchless (with rails) are a lot better

I also have the 90 day Petro Canada car wash and it NEVER cleans the rear of my BMW, especially around the license plate so you either do it by hand afterwards or go to the coin-op.
(Best coin-op in Brampton is at Queen/Bramlea Rd in the Pioneer gas station plaza if anybody's around here ...)

Queen and Bramalea coin op is probably the worst coin up I have been to in North America and I have been to a whole bunch.

Really?
It has the strongest spray available nearby to actually spray soap the salt off your car without using they're nasty broom type brush lollll
In and Out is pretty decent since they have under body but the spray is too weak to do anything.
