Yeah I agree with you guys, its a little fart can sounding.. I think a resonator will do the trick... should help with the harmonics, and yeah I have the racelands and they fit great, and meet up with the exhaust perfect... so I will have to order those resonators and hope that fixes the rasp... btw a bunch of videos to follow.... none out of the car yet.... need to find a friend to video.. these will all be in cabin with windows up.

On a road somewhere in mexico!

here are a few in cabin videos, windows rolled up.

First video...
6th gear 1/5 throttle roll on the free way from 75-85
just to give you and idea of drone..there is little at freeway speeds.. at least not too much for me

next is 4th gear pull from 70-100... had to stop... those Mexicans drive slow and had one in front of me

Next is on a roll from 5mph in first and short shifted through 2-3 opps then hit a pretty good pump in the road.. hence the bang right there near the end.. damn shitty bump mexican roads!

last is a 2nd gear run froim 20-60mph with an upshift .. 1/2 to 3/4 throttle

Ill try and get some today with windows open on my way to or from work..

Here are a few day videos.... Drivers window was open I think you can get a better feel for the raspy sounds above 3500rpm under load... Deff installing the resonators as soon as try show up on Friday! Hopefully that tames the fart can sound... Btw on the pipes right after the down pipes there appears to be resonators already... Should I leave those in or replace them with the new ones... Honestly since try will all be straight through I won't effect flow only sound... Any thoughts?

Anyway onto the vids... Also I have the alpina b3 tranny flash so you can see the speed of up shifts as well as rev matching down shifts...

Can you tell us what the alloy used for this exhaust is? Or at least is it magnetic (presumably 409) or no (3xx or 18/8)

I'm assuming for the price that it can't possibly be 304, but I'm always looking for a good deal I don't know that I would bother replacing the stock exhaust for anything that wasn't 300-series stainless because I do drive my car year 'round.

So it's weird from 600-2500 rpm exhaust sounds great...deep grumble tone..but after that.. Yuck!! Hope these resonators fix it!!

Quick need help so there is no where to put these resonators w out replacing the shitty ones that came with the exhaust so those are getting cut out and replaced... If this doesn't work I'm putting in bullet style mufflers next week

Ok so verdict is in... Much of the drone and rasp have been removed by replacing the resonators that came with the exhaust w new vibrant 1792 ones... Still a little metallic sounding at high revs.. But I can live with it! Ill post videos later.

Thanks Im glad im doing a good job... i felt after reviewing everything on the forum, there really wasnt good vids with sound clips... and suprisingly the iphone4s does a really good job with sound replication!

I will have one here shortly.. wiating for my coworker to finish something up then hes gonna vid for me again..

i will do a few.. a walk around under no load, a cold start up and a warm start up and another drive by vid.. sorry the traffic noise was a little much, but it was the best I could do during the day..

Anyway hang tight should have those up here shortly.. next hour or two.
