Xenon color matching

I just purchased a set of LUX 5.0 and a set of LED trurn singals and I wanted to get a set of bulbs for my DRL's and Fogs to match them (I have HID headlights). What kelvin rating do you think would work best? I know on the LUX has a 5000k-6000k rating.

thanks for the help!

Here's a pic of the setup I just bought:

I'd look into a set of PIAA 6000k fog lights I have the PIAA 8000k and they match my 8000k headlights really well.

I was thinking about going with thsese:
http://www.automotivelightingusa.com...oducts_id=1020

They have around the same Kelvin rating and from the pic they seem to be a close match.

Buy an HID kit from UED with the bulb out fix. This is a 6000K kit

For the DRLs, I haven't found something that I like, yet. I'm going to try PIAA Xtreme Force 4700K (these are JDM bulbs and not available directly in the US)

I appreciate the help guys! Thanks!

Kev - looks like the package made it to Jacksonville late last night, so hopefully they'll be here tomorrow. Thanks again for the LUX and Led turn signals!

honestly, i think oem HID is a good match (the way the color looks changes a bit from 4300k due to the optics of the projector). i have pics if you wanna see what i'm talking about.

your led turn signals are hot by the way. did you also do any sort of overlay to get the amber out when the turn signals aren't on?

Lux 5 matches nicely with the stock 4300K HID, where as Lux 4 matches better with 6000K OSRAMs. In that picture, I was running 6000K so I chose the 6000K foglights to match

Those are Euro xenons so they don't have the amber reflectors

I have the OSRAM 6000k headlights with LUX 5.0 LUX is a bit warmer color then the xenon lens when the headlight is on. Honestly i think that the OEM's match really well

I had the same dilemma choosing between fog lights when i installed my Lux 5.0, but i went with the Mtec Cosmos

http://www.automotivelightingusa.com...oducts_id=1229

and i love them.

IMO, the blue is sneaky, its noticeable at different angles.

...but if money is not an issue, upgrade your fogs to HID.
