Go-Karting Sunday 27th January in Picton @ 1pm
Meet at McDonald's Liverpool @ 11am for an 11:30am sharp departure.
See map below for pre meet point
We'll then drive for 45mins to the Go-Kart place.

I think some of us will be a bit short on time that afternoon so we'll do the $75 option which still gives us 1 x 10min qualifier and 1 x 20min final race.

Other things to note:
- If you have your own helmet bring it! (I'll be bringing mine)
- Macca's breakfast finishes at 10:30am so if you want to get there a little earlier you can join me for some hotcakes
- We'll be finished in Picton by no later than 2pm - Moe you should be able to make your soccer practice no problems
- Those who want to 'kick-on' can crash the JDM meet in Moore Park starting at 5pm. Am pretty confident this one WON'T get shut down.

I'm certainly up for another driveday/meet up to bring us into twenty-eleven so am proposing a few dates and options. We can take a vote and see what's popular.

Dates:
Sat 22nd Jan
Sun 23rd Jan

or if two weeks notice isn't enough,
Sat 29th Jan
Sun 30th Jan

Here are my proposed events:

1. Go karting (picton). Only an hour from Sydney CBD, we'll arrange a pre-meet point in Liverpool somewhere and cruise down together.
Sprint Challenge - $75. 1x 10min practice & qualify followed by 1 x 20min race.
GP Challenge - $140. 1 x 20min practice & qualify followed by 1 x 20min heat and 1 x 20min final

2. Driveday - Wollongong. We'll driveday to Wollongong via RNP (I know there may be traffic and cops on a weekend but it's something I can live with). We'll have lunch then cruise up back the freeway.

3. Driveday - Blue Mountains. We'll go via Bells Line of Rd, probably a 250km round trip and about 4-5hours including lunch, phototime.

4. Hardparking. For those not interested in another driveday and who want to grab a latte and braid each others hair. We'll do a photoshoot in the Hills area or Northern Beaches.

My personal preference is pretty much split between Go-karting (which is always fun, although costs $$$) and a driveday.
If we want we could do the 'pre-meet' on the 22/23 Jan weekend and have the 'event' the weekend after.

We'll probably invite the 1ers along aswell after we settle on a date/event (Jeff I'll rely on you to post it up)

I know they do quad-biking on the sand dunes of Stockton Beach/Anna Bay (about 2.5hrs from CBD each way)... did you have a place in mind Moe?

Majority seems to say Go-Karting so we'll do this on Jan 29 or 30.

I think with all the track day things coming up (MDTC Course, Wakefield, etc) the next driveday might be a little while off.

250km drive is waaayy too hectic. Our wiseman's run was approx 160km and that took pretty much the whole day.

Quad-biking and go-karting, I'm up for whatever.

After lunch there was only 60-90 minutes of spirited driving?

Although I did skip old pac on the way home so maybe that's why it felt short.

I'll get in touch with the gokarting place and see if they can do us a group special. Maybe something in between the $75 and $140 options listed above.

I'm waiting on a response from the gokarting place with regards to a 'package' (around the $80-$100mark) and the more we get the better deal we can get.

Any ideas or preferences for the premeet the weekend before? I want to start taking shots with my new camera

Have we locked in a date yet? I might have something on the weekend of the 29/30th... so if people who aren't keen for the current dates, but are for a later date (eg: 4/5, 11/12 Feb), would sign up, then I'm all for it too

which day on the 29th/30th are you busy, we could always go the day you are free.

if you want to invite some friends along sure, but it's not really supposed to be a e90post meets jdmst meet lol.
although we could do that.. and be outnumbered like 30 to 1 :P

I'm not so keen on the "I have some friends" idea unless they are E9X. Even for the track day. The whole point of the meet is to get together with other E9X owners. We shouldn't need to up the numbers for no reason. If there are only 6 people then so be it.

NB E82/87/88 allowed and maybe an X5 if chris is watching.
