Thanks for your support
I got the logs. I'll check them out first thing in the morning and make sure everything is looking good. Thanks for the help!

Hey Josh, mind if I do some logs on Stage 1 sport this weekend and send them to you to make sure I'm running alright and than since I'm in California, is there anyway to see if Stage 1 aggressive will do, or is there a stage 1 ACN in the works?

Thanks,

Aaron

Sure. Send me some logs of the Sport map. If everything looks exceptionally good, we'll have you load up the Aggressive map and do some more logging.

N55 Cobb

I finally managed to get my car reprogrammed with the 98FOB ROM. After lots of back and forth with the SA, he initially said "we cannot reprogram it." I had already mentioned there was an SIB and cold start issues, etc. At that point I gave him the SIB number. Without the SIB number, I could not have gotten it reprogrammed. After the reprogram I had brake/DSC warning lights and had to go back twice to the dealer. It was something with "steering angle sensor" and I had to get a new alignment. Anyway, all set now with Stage 1+FMIC and it's amazing. It is a TOTALLY different car with this tune. Thanks Cobb.

My god thats what happened to me too. After they updated my car I drove it for about 35 km then I had DSC DBC etc light comming on. Now my car is sitting at the dealer waiting for the steering angle sensor to arrive.

In prep for my Cobb, I dropped off my 2011 335i (South Africa) sedan with a build date of 7/10. To get the DME updated. I complained of the 3 issues mentioned above and even provided the SIB. Unfortunately the SA said the SIB requires a recorded fault in order to update the DME. Anyone know of a more accommodating BMW dealer in the San Francisco Bay Area?

I have got the similar situation in Melbourne. I asked them to update DME by complaining those issues. And what I've been told is that only they can read faults from my car otherwise they will charge a labour fee to update. Then I said I'm happy to do that. But later on the Service guy ringed me up said they won't do it even I pay for it. I was like what's wrong with this guys.

One of my friend used to work in BMW dealer as a mechanic and he helps me to book an appointment in a different BMW dealer. Finally I got my car updated for free. 98F0B is my current ROM version.

0-100km result

I have tried a few times how quick my car can be after stage 1 aggressive and the mod I have is BMS intake. From what AP shows 0-100, the quickest result is only 4.66s.

Have you guys ever tried that before and what do you get?

Stage 1 Aggressive tune is noticeable and it is faster, but I don't think it is that fast. Any input is welcome.

You'll need a COBB AP for that... Or a OBD-cable, computer and software (i don't know the exact name for this software)

Do you believe it is that fast?

Which intercooler do you use?

What would exactly happen if i run something like stage 2 aggressive+ without using an intercooler? No track days just high way driving.

Hello. First off, good looks to Cobb, used to run stage 2 on my 04 STi and loved it.
Ok, my questions. About to pull the trigger on the AP and just want to know (based on conflicting posts I've read)

1) Is there a performance decrease or problem with using BMS intake? If not, I'll keep it on, if so, I'll go back to stock airbox?
2) Just want to clarify that a CBE (interested in the Vanguard) will not hurt or help performance - it's basically for look/sound.
3) Regarding ROM - I have a 2011 335i xdrive, is there any way to tell (call the dealer?) what ROM I have and if it's going to work? Do the AP units ship w/all the latest ROMs?
4) If I remove the tune and revert back to stock map, can dealership tell it was ever mod'd?

That's about it ... thanks!

Sorry this took so long. Here are two longs the second I didn't push it as hard. In both I didn't push it as hard as I could of, I just don't feel comfortable pushing it to redline. Anyways attached are the 2 logs running Stage 1 Sport. I'm in Cali if you forgot and I just wanted to know if the car looks like it could run stage 1 Agressive.

Much appreciated.

I will send them to you via pm.

Hey Josh!

Just installed my AccessPORT yesterday. Love it! I'm running a DP + FMIC. Any word on when you will be supporting COBB FMIC + DP w/ the Stage 2 aggressive map?

Thx!
