Mini DIY Mod...IMO a must for all
Wanted to do this for a while....and had the time to kill...
Followed this DIY: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...hlight=balloon And did this - looks a million times better!! p.s. I have some extra balloons, so if you want to do this and are local, you can come pick them up for free p.s.s. To wipe off some oversray that leaked, I used Windex and it came off with some elbow grease before: after: |

Kol, your vehicle looks to be sitting perfectly!
Mind sharing your suspension setup and wheel sizes? |

if you are referring to the "before" pic height: 12.6" from centre of hub to bottom of fender all around, which can be achieved with any height adjustable coilover set. I have KWs if that matters camber: -2.6 rear, -1.2 front; max toe in the front wheels: 19x8.5 +35 with 235/35 and 19x9.5 +33 with 265/30 Did not rub at all, but I do have rolled fenders. |

Saw the balloons thread a long time ago and was gonna try it out haha, but I ended up deciding I didn't wanna do a full blackout on a black car so I left them alone. Your car's gonna look great with the new mod and the black lower grills, just hope you don't end up scraping around too much!
If anyones worried about overspray, honestly just take the bumper off and pop off the grills, popping the bumper off is literally as simple as opening a couple screws and popping them back in.

Thanks!
After a couple it seems the paint has become more matte and is holding up. If you took off bumper and painted the grills separate for sure it will be cleaner. But more time, all the removing time plus waiting for grills to dry before putting back on. The balloon idea was done in 40 mins from start to finish. |

Looks good!
I did mine by taking the bumper off. Wasn't hard at all. I just took my time to do it. Plus it was fun

Ya, I think i would have preferred to do it with bumper/grills off....but since I live in a condo, I can only rely on using my friend's driveway and I had limited time - I'm glad the balloons did the job! |
