Didn't Roger look after one of those for one of his mates?

Dont think so!...One of my mates brothers let his mate drive his lotus exige s back to his house and ended up clipping a curb by his house and flipping it through a hedge.....yes no insurance, the coppers turned up, ambulance etc... god knows how they got away with it all though!
Funnily enough he doesn't speak to the lad who totalled his car. The family is loaded though, my mates brother is my age (24) and has just had an Audi R8 before Christmas. |

Easy and cheap to repair?
I don't bloody think so. Genuine Ferrari bits will cost thousands - and it will also always be identifiable as a smashed motor. Not worthless by any means, but even when fixed it's resale will be mid 20's (recorded or not) so it's not worth more than teens in that state.

The inlaws insured me on their 355 (6 months old at the time) a few months after I started going out with my now wife. It was partly fun, partly terrifying driving it. Especially on narrow Cornish lanes!

Yep and pretty intimidating too. I remember turning up to take her out for the first date - very long drive to a rather large house, lots of nice cars and a boatshed full of decent kit. Properly bricked myself!
Luckily I didn't crash the 355, we all get on well and now I've "given" them two grandkids, I think I'm now home and dry... Parts for Ferraris are comically priced as Sheps will agree. Except he actually owned one. I just borrowed one! Baby Dave - yep, even more of a baby than your namesake! Errmm - the car was six months old... |
