Talking Wolfgang TSR 3.0

Just wanted to say I used it on my new to me 2010 Melbourne Red E92 M3.

THIS STUFF ROCKS!!!

I used M105/205 and a couple other PB SSR 2.5/1 prior on my 2010 BSM E92 335i. The M105 and PB SSR 2.5 dusted horribly and the results were pretty good IMHO.

The WG TSR 3.0 has WAY more working time and produces WAY less dust compared to the Megs/PB products.

I will definitely be using this stuff from now on. It seems it also took me about half the time since I didn't have to constantly have to re-apply product with a shorter working time product.

Products I used this time were:

WG TSR 3.0 with a LC CCS orange pad
WG Finishing Glaze 3.0 with a LC CCS white pad
Menzerna PL with a LC CCS blue pad

WG TSR has nowhere near the cut that M105 has. It is similar to Menzerna SI1500. A replacemnet for M105 is Menzerna FG400 that has just a little less cut in comparison to M105, but dusts considerably less. It's a lot easier to work with. WG FG is pretty much, if not the same as Menzerna SF4500/4000. For most BMW clear coats, I find TSR only corrects about 60%-70% with an orange cutting pad.

Sounds like my technique was maybe off when I used the M105/205. I've read a few articles on how to properly use the M105/205, and would have to say as a beginner it can be a challenge to use it to its full potential.

All I can say is the WG TSR got me better results and quicker. I would say the TSR removed 100% of the swirls that were very apparent and removed like you said 60-75% if not more of the very minor small scratches.

I'm sure there were other factors such as:

- Black Sapphire Metallic compared to Melbourne Red. I'm sure the swirls and light scratches are more noticeable on the BSM.

- Maybe the BSM paint on my last 335i was is worse condition than my current M3.

Thanks for your insight and opinions Ortruba. I like reading your views on specific products and techniques
