No, You won't get back fire if you go full catless.
Go full race build, WOT throttle, suddenly let off the gas pedal you should get backfire. Personally, its ricy. |

Back fire is not ricey, it's bad ass! I back fired when I was running only one muffler (instead of two) and no cats.
Why was I running one muffler? I purchased Vanguard, and the vendor sent me two passenger side mufflers instead of one passenger and one driver side. I didn't notice the mix up until the installation was almost over.

It backfires a lot when fully catless and meth. NLS helps a lot.
But even when meth is on at concentrations higher than 60-40 it backfires when letting off the throttle at high rpm Damn, I'm trying to get a video but nobody wants to help me |

It's not backfire you're looking for. It's afterfire.
If you are actually having backfire that is very very bad. Afterfire is the popping in the exhaust system. |

Run super rich, add some meth (not recommended)
Mine pops and I have a stock exhaust. My last car used to shoot a 2-3 foot blue flame. |

Supercharged/Nitrous Acura RSX LOL
It was running a little rich when it shot those flames. After I tweaked the tune a bit more it would only do it in 4th gear. The bigger flames were actually out of 1st going into 2nd mainly because I fed about 5% extra fuel in the lower gears due to wheel spin. |

I feel like I don't even need to upgrade the exhaust in this car..it sounds amazing as it is and has plenty of noises on and off the throttle to keep me on the edge of my seat..For my 6MT if I ever got a catback it would just be for the hell of it...to be honest it quite unnecessary..but getting rid of secondary cats is always a nice thing for those looking to go that route!

I was backfiring all the time with VRSF CLDP's and VRSF V2 exhaust on 93 octane. I just WOT and let off the gas pedal. It's awesome when I have the top down on my E93
