I think purple would look awesome--but only if you could get the Xenons to match. Until then....white will look better than yellow--especially at night!

Wouldn't H11 run too hot? I thought it had a different wattage. Am I wrong?

H11 is a no no.. 20 watt over bmw h8 which is 35w. Definitely will give u an error on the dashboard.. unless u don't mind seeing it...

BTW--any update on the 3rd mod you were doing that was "light" related? I am curious to see what you have cooked up.

I think Shinchan was only able to use an H8 on the fog lights--if you use a bright white, it would probably look pretty close to HID, and as others have mentioned, not piss off others in oncoming traffic.

That look great, too bad the innner ring is lighter then the outer.

I want to do the hid fog.. but thats an expensive mod.. if it did not work and trigger the warning in dashboard.
If it did work.... then thats a small price to pay.. but i would soo tick off by the constant error msg on my dashboard.. If you want to spend money on hid fog... I think the first thing to change is the D1S bulb....

Got the MTEC bulbs to work, and they look great! So excited, thanks for all your help! I'll post pics tonight when it gets dark (not that evident during the day as discussed before).
