License plate. There's no speed cameras or red light cameras (I don't run them anyways) around where I live so why not. I wouldn't appreciate an inconvenient ticket coming my way for not having one.

With plate. Why ask for trouble when you don't have to?

No plate. The car looks better without it in my opinion. If you don't want to give people an excuse to pull you over, leave it on. It IS the law here, but 4 of my five vehicles look better without plates so I don't have them. Have only ever had one warning ticket.

I paid good money for my personalized black plates. Not letting half my investment sit in a drawer somewhere lol

If you ever park on the street, best to keep it on to avoid a ticket. Never been pulled over for not having it, but have gotten plenty of front plate tickets from meter maids.

Used to have no license plate. In NV you can go without one as long "as the manufacturer does not provide a front bracket." There were no holes in my bumper so I was ready to convince an officer if needed that BMW didn't make one
But then I hit a rabbit and am buying a used replacement with holes. Can't really get away with that anymore

I hate California auto laws.. One day we will all have to have flat brown cars with a big California flag on the side of our ride, otherwise huge ticket.. I rock a front plate. dead center.. not off the the side (never understood the aesthetic reasoning to that)...

Im in AZ and they dont require front plates so i keep mine off. When i lived in NY i got pulled over and ticketed (by a cop standing in the middle of the road) because i didnt have one on my jetta. Anyway with a vanity plate, its nice to show off a little, just rock the back!
Come to think of it, i think i could have outrun that ticket...

I live in CA and although a lot of people complain about the strict laws here, I'm not running front LPs because it looks so much cleaner without it and I don't want to drill holes in my bumper.

I stapled my license plate to my front window. It's convenient and I put it in the top so it blocks the sun. Although, I don't really like all the cracks it made on my window. Hmmm

+1 living in CA. I don't have front LPs but I did attach the license frame holder bracket to my front grill (spray painted black to match grill, minimal air flow block) for when that day comes that I get the ticket, or I happen to park at meters/frequently patrolled areas, just fasten the license plate on in 2 minutes.
