3 winter wheel options...opinions needed quickly.
Option #1
http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/pts/3325370471.html 4 225/45/18 Blizzaks (Supposedly new) $450 OBO or trade for all-seasons (could offer my oem run flats) Pros - New Blizzaks, possible trade Cons - Would have to pay for mounting/dismounting Option 2 http://chicago.craigslist.org/nch/pts/3326992364.html Dunlop SP Winter Sport 225/50 R17 on Rial Salerno wheels. About 9,000 miles on Wheel set. $350 Pros - New wheels means I can sell my OEM 189s and tires. Cons - 9000 miles on the set Option 3 http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/pts/3327854661.html (2) 235/40/18 Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D. Tires have about 90% tread left (9/32). $80 OBO Pros - Price Cons - Would have to look for two similar tires, mount/dismount cost Quick replies would be appreciated as these offers won't last long. Thanks in advance. Last edited by Game; 10-09-2012 at 11:18 PM.. |

out of those choices - blizzak ws-70's had them on my 545, ws60 on my 528. Bad ass snow tire in bad snow. Drove my 528i into an unplowed parking lot about 2 feet. Stopped turned in a circle then backed out. didn't get stuck once. Only thing is once its starts to warm up they must come off ASAP or you will burn them out.

Depending upon your ride height you risk rubbing with options 1 and 2. You would want to get 225/40/18s or 225/45/17s
