drove a mclaren yesterday

friend of my sons came round and very kindly let me drive his McLaren and didn't even ask if I was insured! 1st time ive ever driven something like this all £200,000 of it. obviously didn't go mad as its not my car, very nice but didn't feel that much quicker than the 335d.

I remember when the McClaren F1was launched, what 25years ago.
First service - £25,000.
That's right, three zeros.....😀

Wasn't as much as 25 years, but all these years later their £535,000 car is worth £2M+.

Those £25,000 services were cheap in the scale of things.

1992 Kerr, so not quite 25 years.

Hear what you say about the service costs relative to the price of the car.

I guess you're just fishing when you say it was slower than the 335d?

Coz I am biting.

Assume it was the MP12-4C? the one that's 300kg lighter and 300+ BHP more than the 335D

Also what on earth does your sons friend do for a living?
