Anyone thought about reproducing the TMS exhaust?

I think it sounds great and could be dont for fairly cheap. 3" pipe after collector and small borla muffler.

I agree. I think a slightly larger muffler and it would be the perfect combo of sound.

Not hearing the tin can bud. I'm surprised at how un-raspy it is honestly.

Doesn't sound bad but doesn't sound great IMHO. Would sound better with headers.

These are race cars that are track only. Some states, like the one I live in, do not have emission testing. I have an ECU tune that turns off the rear o2 sensors.

Sorry to bump an old thread but found this when searching for different exhaust options. I don't know a whole lot about exhaust but what kind of muffler would be recommended to get this sound just maybe quieter?

I really like the sound it gives off just maybe not how loud it is.

Curious as well...would it be a better idea to go to a shop and get it custom or is there something similar for sale somewhere?

custom for sure will be cheaper and you can choose your muffler to your preferences. Looking back on it, I bought a PE and did a secondary cat delete, but a custom exhaust from the headers back would have been a better choice. If you cant find a shop you trust, i havent seen anyone try the scorpion exhaust system from bavauto before. and its way cheaper than anything else out ($375 on sale now).

Sounds terrible IMO, but they didn't make it to sound good.
