Cobb Tune 335is Question

I'm just curious if anyone knows the answer to this, I've searched all over the forums and can't seem to find an answer.

Does a Cobb Tuned 335is essentially just become the same as a cobb tuned 335i? Are there maps specific to the 335is that perhaps take advantage of the additional cooling of the "is" model to produce better HP/TQ numbers? I am talking just a stage 1 tune, no other bolt ons. According to Cobb website the gains on a stage 1 map for 335is are minimal compared to that of a 335i stage 1.

Thanks in advance.

its minimal because u have to take into account the overboost feature of a 335is, so comparing the gains of a 335is w/ overboost > cobb stage 1 to a normal 335i > cobb stage 1 will be less of a gain

I believe the answer is yes. The reason the gains are minimal is because the 335is has the overboost function which already adds some horsies over the stock 335i. A stage 1 Cobb tuned 335i should make the same power as a 335is.
