Mines getting crusty too. Noticed when I replaced my windshield molding. GL. Im assuming windshield wipers have to be removed to replace. Is a special tool needed? I noticed Schwaben sells one on ecstuning.

no. I checked mine they are holding on by two screws. So shouldn't be a problem
