Click the link in my sig to find out! I have V3. They are good enough for me. I have had them for four years now. The fact that I ~can~ adjust the 'bump' is an advantage over V1 as my rear end just started to rub on big bumps (255/35/19 - 230 style wheel 9" wide et39 with 10mm spacer means et29 ) so I think I have to adjust the bump a little stiffer. It hasn't ever done that before. They are easily adjustable, especially the 'rebound'. As you have probably read, they are a vast improvement over stock. With camber plates you can stuff a 265 tire in front too, I think I can even go to 275, I ~hate~ rubbing so I am generally pretty conservative.

Speaking of rubbing I was on I-25 the other day and noticed a VW GTI with gigantic wheels and there must have been less than a finger of space between tire and fenders. I could hear him rub ~with my windows down~ with every little bump on I-25. He literally had about 3mm of suspension travel as his tires were easily outside the fenders. SMH.

Nice, I had an EVO X lowered on Eibachs, 19x9.5 Volk SF Challenge +13 ET.... slight fender roll was needed, and modifications/reshaping of fender liner to not rub at all. But before that, when it did rub, sounded like garbage.

[QUOTE=aleckzandr;16986817]Do you know Chris who owns a sparkling graphite 335i? Can't miss the car, he has a ~BIG~ DSC off sticker on his back window. I know he lives in Durango. (PM me for his last name) He has been attending the last several spring BMWCCA HPDEs at HPR. I had him as a student one year and a friend of his from Oregon last year. I don't think he is on e90post though.
I actually haven't seen it, but I'll keep an eye out for the sticker! It's a small enough town that I should see it eventually. |

Has anyone had a water pump failure on their 335 yet? Mine just died, yup Merry Christmas to me.
I see people paying anywhere from $850-$1500 at the dealer wondering what you guys paid and if it's worth just spending Christmas swallowing coolant under the car... Happy Holidays Fellas! |

Just an update, Murray quoted me $1680ish out the door, but couldn't get me in for like a week and if I needed a loaner it was longer.
So, Got the parts for a little under $700 from Murray, 4 hours and 3 beers later she was good to go. You can get the parts for around $500 shipped from many online vendors but I was in a hurry. Cheers.

Nope, things pretty much die off in the winter around here, unless we decide to go bowling and do donuts in the parking lot afterwards
