too lazy to go for service,,

I am too lazy to go for service,
my oil service was about 2000km ago..

i am supposed to go but its too far for me.
and i work everyday and have really no time.,,

damn, i know i should be going,,
do you think i should just take my car to the green and ross 5 min away from my place?

i get lazy and keep forgetting to go for the service
and its already been 2000km.... (i do about 120km a day) so thats about 2 weeks of me being lazy.

will it mess my car up?

Based on his user name, maybe it's just his run-about car anyways that he doesn't give two s-h-i-t's about?

Pick the closest dealer to your work and just drop it off. Or make an appointment and hang out for an hour and a half.

Given the number of cars all over the world that run for thousands of miles and never see an oil change, you'll be fine for a couple of weeks.

Get it done.

do it yourself
took me half an hour but that inccluded the fact i'v never done an oil change in my life before so i spent time looking for the drain plug and figuring out how to get the oil cap off.
took a smoke break and a beer while waiting for the oil to drain

so how much km has it been since your last oil change? I'm asking because when I did mine it said I had 24,000km until the next oil change! I'm not sure if that's normal but that's a long time but I'm going to change it at 15,000km

I know a guy at endras bmw, so wanting to go there to get things done..
but its too damn far, which is why i am being so lazy hahah..

i think last oil change was around 70k, now its 90k
i am not so good with cars so wasnt sure what this extra 2k will do to my car..
every mornin its saying -2000km and i am kinda worried..

i dont know why i am so lazy but driving all the way to oshawa is pain in the ass,
but i have this feeling that he will take good care of my car once i get there,
better than just dropping it off with guys at parkview or autohaus.. (not that they aren't professional, its because i know this guy at endras...)

by the way, since my warranty is over, i have to pay for all this service i am going through right now right? so maybe is it better for me to just go to an autoshop instead of a dealer? maybe it will be cheaper,,

i was under warranty until the last service, but i think it's over for me now.

I buy my BMW OEM oil service kits from ECStuning.com and usually get an indy shop to do the job on their lift..... In and out under 30 minutes....

You have a lot of options. You don't need to drive out on Oshawa to take it change. I suggest you go to the recommended shops like RMP motors in Etobicoke. It's not too far if you're in Toronto. I haven't been there myself but I've read they are the place to go to for BMW.

+1 doesn't matter what kind of car. Always keep up with maintenance. Once a year isn't often compared to other cars I've had before that I change every 5000kms.
Being lazy isn't a good excuse. Either do it yourself if you have the proper tools or take it to any local shops. It's better than not doing it and delaying it. An oil change is a very easy DIY on the e90. The oil filter is on top and more accessible than most cars

I hope mommy or daddy didn't buy this car for you...you don't deserve it if they did. It's called responsibilities, bro. Man up, and take care of your shit. You don't need to do it every second weekend, but once every few months, when you're not feelin lazy, would be a good time to go.
