Did you do ED or order it?

to the OP- Ordered cars are priority 1 so they clear custom quicker, get through VPC quicker and also to your dealer quicker.

ED cars are Priority 0 thus they take longer for everything. That's why the wait is 6-8 (it only spends about 3 weeks on the boat so the rest are pretty much just customs and VPC).

my car actually came from south africa. my CA did a dealer trade while the car was still being shipped to the states.

my CA gave me a call when the ship came into port. it was then i asked how long it would take to get to the dealership, and he said about 1 week usually. it was pretty cool that it only took 4 days. :rocks:

I wish I could, but I'm stuck at work until 11pm. The car also needed to be detailed and filled up with gas per the CA. It must have just arrived. I think I surprised the CA when I told him that I'll pick it up first thing in the morning. He told me noon. Pics to come Saturday when I have a day off.

Oh, I forgot to add that the car was scheduled to be at the port on the 23rd, so it took 5 days to get to the dealer.

I bought the car last tueday(6/26), it wasnt a custom order. I was looking for a car which the dealership did not have my set of options. They found one that is on the way and at a port in oxnard. I guess I don't have any priority in this :/

Typically a week is normal.

Shragon: Unless your car was a dealer trade with a dealer in the mid-west or East coast, your car came through PH (Oxnard) also.

My car was an ED and it took about a week to reach the dealer after the ship docked.
