Oh no! Disaster!!

J/K!

So here's my dilemma and I could use some input. I just put down a deposit on a 2013 F30 M-Sport that should be here any day. My current car is an '07 E92 335i. When my new F30 comes in, I'm going to be taking the Morr VS8.2's (E90 offset) off my E92, and put them onto the F30. And take the MSport 400M rims and put them onto my E92. Simple enough right?

What should I do about to TPMS?? I somehow, have to get the TPMS out from the 400M's, and into the Morr's and vice versa. Pretty much, dismounting and remounting 8 tires! I would need to find a place that has two lifts who would be willing to do this, and probably charging me $$$$.

Any suggestions??

P.S. Sorry about the Disaster thing, been hanging out with someone who says it all the time. I know, First World Problems....

You should be able to just swap everything and not throw any codes, and everything work fine.

The TPMS in the Morr's is pre-lci. Won't work with the newer systems.

Swap the sensors then. Sounds like you answered your own question.

I use Mach V in Sterling for new tire mounting. They have great equipment and are very careful with aftermarket wheels.

or just swap them out and have the errors coded out - probably the best alternative.

Or go with the errors until you wear the tires out.

Yep really three choices here:

1) Code it out

2) Swap Em out

3) Ride it out

Ok, so swap them out is the consensus. Anyone have any recommendations on a shop that'll be willing to do this??
