I've never used spacers before because I've always has good aftermarket wheels but I'm going to keep these factory ones for awhile. Do people ever use spacers on them? Or is that just weird lol

If so, what mm spacers do people use to give it the flush look?

I have a 335i coupe with 15mm spacers on the rear. As long as they are hubcentric you won't get any vibration and the rear end looks way better than with the rims/tires stuck way under the body. Get them you'll love the squared off look. My car is stock height with stock wheels. I have aftermarket wheels but the roads here in Ohio are so bad, I'll be riding on the factory set-up till I get out of here. It's the cheapest way to make your car look different from the rest. Ignore the vibration posts, they had to purchase the wrong stuff.

I have an e93, had 15mm spacers on the rear with the crappy bridestones, when I upgraded to Michelin's, the sidewall is a little wider, so they rubbed just a tad and I changed the spacers out to turners 12.5mm.

You won't get any vibration if you buy good quality hub centric spacers. I would stay away from them on the front though as you can't to wide enough to get decent ones.

I was running 15m (Turner)in the rear and 12m (BMS)up front on my factory 193's with no problems at all. Only on hard dips would the rears rub slightly. I say go for it.

I have style 189 rims with Turner's 12.5mm spacers in the rear. Nothing on the front. It is a subtle, conservative modification. Other people will say "nice car" but not know why it looks good. Park next to a stock e9x and the difference is obvious.

No vibes what so ever, no rubbing at all. Not "Hella flush" but definitely fills in the wheel wells nicely. To me it makes the stance a little more aggressive and gives the illusion that the rear wheels are wider. I wouldn't mess with the front, that is where you could get into trouble, and they look fine as they are.

Very happy with this little mod.

20mm on factory wheels. No vibration. Bought from TMS and read their info page. Everything is fine.

I just ordered 12.5mm spacers for the rear of my E91 the tires are 255/18's. When I measured the front 225/18's there was no room for spacers, maybe 5mm don't see that happening!

Proper Hub-centric AND wheel-centric spacers will not cause any problems.

I have 12mm up front and 20mm in the back. If i could redo it, i would get 25mm rear because the front is more flush than the rear as of now.
This is of course, on the type 162s.
Extended wheel bolts are a must (no matter the size).

You are going to love these spacers. Very good quality. Did you get the black extended lug bolts? The hardest part now is waiting for the package to show up.

Yes I did order the extended lugs, and you are right about the waiting game.

I don't think you'll notice any difference, especially for everyday driving.

15 mm in the rear on stock rims. Really makes the back look more aggressive.

I have 15mm on the rear of my e91 and I didn't notice any change as far as vibrations and ride quality.

12mm all around on stock wheels in the winter time , no vibration

15s in the back would be better on stock wheels
