Replacing Tires on on 335 coupe Sport Pkg

Hi Guys,

I have about 10,000 miles on my run craps and have decided I may as well replace them with something I really lilke. One thing about the original Bridgestone Run Flats is that I really like the sharp turn in, alas I hate the bouncy ride, lousy tread wear and noise they make. I live in Charlotte NC so snow is not much of an issue, although I was considering Conti Extreme Contact DWS all season tires. On the other extreme I love the Michelin PS2s on my SLK 55 and have thought about those as well, or maybe something in between. I would love to hear what you all have put on your E90 generation cars. Thanks!

I would recommend the set up I am running. Cooper zeon 2xs. talk with craven328. he had great prices on them. They are significantly cheaper than most of the tires you listed, and perform better. I handle like a beast on back roads and out near my farm. great rain traction as well. no matter what the situation these things stick.

glad to see another NC guy on the forums. PM me if you have any questions or want me to explain further.

I like the PS2 A/S+ for its ability to be driven in other-than-ideal weather. Turn-in is not as crisp as the runflats, but more predictable in rough turns (no side-hop like the BStones). Ride comfort improves immensely, as will life-time.

If you will never drive in winter conditions, the PS2 summer tires would be my choice. I ran them for years on my E36 M3 with great results.

Top summer performance tires would include the Michelin PS2, Continental Extreme Contact DW, and Goodyear F1 Asymmetric.
