A Narrow M Badge stripe across the middle maybe an 1.5 inches wide would look pretty cool, and would be very unique. I wouldnt put a regular BMW decal on there.

wow, that looks great, especially in black. I voted against decals though... maybe just "BMW", but the logo also is a bit much IMO.

Just went to rebuild the calipers and it seems that dust boot does not want to go back on. It appears to be due to the extra mm of paint.
Are the 335i calipers aluminum? And if so, does anyone know the best solvent to remove powdercoat? |

typically the steps involved... 1) remove 2 to 4 bolts holding caliper assembly to the rear wheel hub. 2) Remove brake bleeder valve (make sure to have a bucket handy to handle brake fluid which comes through where the caliper used to be attached to 3) Remove the pads from inside the cailpers To reinstall you'll have a couple more steps like 1) add more brake fluid, meanwhile a 2nd person can pump the brakes to bleed out the air 2) You may need to push the pistons back in on the OEM calipers 3) reverse above steps 4) bed in brakes, verify pedal doesnt stick and its not at a lower position than when you originally started. 5) If/when removing rears, you may need to adjust the parking brake on the rear rotors |

Took me a while to get this done, but here's the final result
I would have been able to install sooner, except the calipers couldn't be rebuilt until paint was removed from certain critical spots. Most notably, the ring where the dustboot goes. The morale of the story - make sure to tape off any portion of the caliper that will touch another part.
