10 hp software for e90 on the way

I was at the dealership a couple days ago (car ticks...) anyway I was talking with my service guy and he is a total car guy, has a GTO that puts 1100HP to the wheels twin turbo...its a monster and spins the tires on the freeway @ 80 lol

But on to my original point, he let me in on a tidbit of information that has some promise to it, the same guys who did the software for HOT ROD's 335 (the fasterst in the 1/4 mile ever, and its all on race gas and tuning all stock car. ) is developing software for the e90 328 (no not for the 330 or 325) it will add 10hp to the wheels, and 3 tq. its still in development, but he is talking with the guys next week to see if they want to Lab rat my car (after the tick is fixed).

Will keep this updated once I get some more info

You are absolutely correct. It is still in the development stages at this moment, but it is in the works.. Here is a Dyno of their testing I got from another site.. Remember this dyno was performed on 89, 91 should give it a little more kick.. And the great thing about it since its coming from BMS the prices should be great!

I had heard that the same guy who made the JB3 is building a chip or software flash for the 325, 238, and 330... not sure if there is any substance behind that though.. just a rumor.

Yes it will be for e92 and e90 328's

BUt as far as I know its only for the 328, no 325 or 330 (yet)

Kinda, Ive raced a 325 against my 328 and it was embarrassing for the other guy. I raced a Lexus IS350 (that belongs to the little kid from Liar Liar haha) and spanked it from the line all the way down

I take my car in on monday to get fixed, after that its all about the new software, will keep everyone posted
