BMW Annapolis Service Center Experiences

What is everyone's experience with this place? It is very hit or miss for me when it comes to someone knowledgeable I get to talk to. It seems that they have some incompetent SA's when it comes to general questions about how work is performed. Do SA's not receive any training on the basics? They never call to update on progress either.

Ive used them a couple times, and to be honest they've hated me since the moment I pulled up. They're not found of modified BMW's IMHO. Just over all shitty experience. Slow service, no updates, improper diagnoses. I prefer the one towards Andrews AFB. Nothing but great things from them and the service advisers are always on point.

I bought my BMW at Passport BMW because they offered the best price by far out of any of the Md. BMW dealers. I took it once to Annapolis BMW for service and they were horrible. So, for the past 4 years I've continued to take my BMW to Passport for service. Passport has been EXTREMELY nice, and there service is top notch ! Often they will come to my home with a loaner car and drive.

I live in Annapolis so it is not a quick drive to Passport, but the service is worth it.

Just had some service done at Passport yesterday. Little out of the way but they were great! Extremely nice! Even had a chance to test drive a new stick 335i! Now just gotta figure out how to teach my wife to drive stick....

They failed to determine a vacuum line was disconnected from the diverter valves causing me to get compressor surge and wastegate rattle. The SA had no understanding of what that means. At least after it was all said and done I got my money back from the diagnosis fee. I contacted BMWNA about it, but ended up playing phone tag with them for two weeks before finally giving up talking to them, but they did at least look into my complaint about BMW of Annapolis.

Stay away from BMW of Annapolis. The one experience with them was unbelievably horrible. My wife was visiting her parents in Annapolis with our 6 month old daughter when the driver's side wiper flew off in a rain storm. So she immediately drove to BMW of Annapolis to get a new one. The SA told her that people wait weeks for Saturday appointments and that he couldn't help her. He even told her that he couldn't get the car history to tell if the wiper would be covered under the maintenance plan. After much arguing, the SA relented and 2 hours later she had new wipers. All that for freakin wipers!!!!

It boggles my mind the lack of customer service. All the SA had to say was 'we can get this done for you'. It's wipers, 5 min job. Instead he was condescending to my wife and made it seem like it was a huge inconvenience for him.
